Iron Treat is used for removing iron, hydrogen sulphide, and manganese from water supplies. It is a media that utilizes an oxidation-reduction reaction and filtration process similiar to Greensand but at a much higher level of performance. Iron Treat contains 80% oxidant in an extremely unique cluster format for enhanced performance and maximized capacity. Iron Treat outperforms Greensand, Birm, etc. due to purity of its particles, superior oxidation/ filtration capacity, and durability.

ACTIVATED CARBON PALM SHELL AND COCONUT SHELL

Activated carbon is an adsorbent available in black granules, pellets, powder or spheres which has generally been proven to have superior absorptive capacity in liquid and vapour phase applications. It can be used for purification of air, gas, liquid and in recovery of precious metals from ores.

Portacel Manganese Green Sand

Product Applications:

The Manganese greensand can be used for removal of iron, manganese or its combined together. It can be used in open gravity filtration or closed pressure tank filtration systems with or without any chemicals added. However, base upon the quality of inlet water oxygen, chlorine and KMnO₄, probably might be injected initially before contact to Manganese greensand. Due to its catalyst power of  MnO₂ on the green sand bead, it could oxidize iron, manganese in soluble form to insoluble (precipitation)form. These insoluble complexes actually retain between the depth of media and could be discarded during backwashing step later. By the way, after oxidation, MnO₂ will be converted to Mn₂O₃ so far KMnO₄ exactly have been using as regenerant in which it could restore oxidizing power of Manganese greensand. So exhausted Mn₂O₃ will become fresh MnO₂ again.

PureLine Iron Removal Media CM 2045

Pureline CM2045 is the medium with oxidation catalyst and facilitates oxidations, precipitation and filtration. The media is best in removing iron, manganese and arsenic.

Pureline CM2045  has superior properties compared to any naturally occurring greensand media. The media does not have a coating like other filter media. The active components are not simply layered but are applied with improved adherence through diffusion into the silica substrate.

PureLine HiCarb 900 CL Activated Carbon

HiCarb 900CL is an economical, granular activated carbon manufactured by steam activation from select grades of bituminous coal. The balance between adsorption and transport pores provides optimum performance in a wide range of water treatment applications. The activated carbon also has a higher density and provides maximum volume activity. The high hardness and mechanical strength ensures low losses during backwashing, air scouring and multiple reactivations.

Anthracite

Anthracite Filter Media are filtration materials for turbidity and SS removal. Since the specific gravity is lighter than that of Filter Sand, it is much used in combination with Filter Sand in dual-media filtration, to consist of reverse grain layers after backwashing.
